Shang-Chi: Shang-Chi Full Movie Review: 

SHANGCHI AND THE LEGEND of THE TEN RINGS opens with the introduction Xu Wenwu. He discovers the mystical ten rings which grant him immortality as well as great powers. Wenwu is a warrior who conquers many kingdoms, and topples governments. To increase his power, Wenwu starts to search for Ta Lo in 1996. It is believed to be home to many mythical beasts. He eventually finds the village's entrance, but is stopped by Ying Li, the village guardian. They fall in love, and they have two children: Xu ShangChi and Xu Xialing. To be with his family, Wenwu leaves the Ten Rings and his Organization. The Iron Gang, Li's old rivals in the Ten Rings, eventually kills Li. Wenwu then takes up the rings again to murder them and continue his criminal activities. Shang-Chi is taken to the Ten Rings' compound by Wenwu to learn all forms of combat from the Death Dealer, a senior member of the Ten Rings. Wenwu sends Shang-Chi to kill the leader of Iron Gang at the age of 14. A traumatized ShangChi abandons his mission and flees to the United States where he takes the name Shaun. Shaun AKA Shang Chi, is now living in San Francisco, working as a valet alongside Katy Chen, many years later. On their way to work on Muni Metro, ShangChi and Katy get attacked by Razor Fist members of the Ten Rings. After fighting off the attackers, Shang-Chi finds that his mother's pendant has been stolen by the Ten Rings. Shang-Chi fears that the Ten Rings will pursue Xialing to get her pendant. He decides to find her and tell Katy his past. Katy agrees to help him. She is eventually found at an underground Macau fight club, where she is also the owner. Xialing expresses anger towards Shang-Chi and says that he abandoned her family and neglected her. A regiment of Ten Rings under the command of Death Dealer attacks the fight club. During the attack, Wenwu arrives unexpectedly and captures ShangChi, Katy, and Xialing. They are then taken back to Wenwu’s compound and told that they are on a mission to rescue their mother, Shang-Chi, Katy, and Xialing. Shang-Chi and Katy escape, and they make their way to the village to find that their father has been tricked by an evil being. To protect all life, they will now have face to face Wenwu the leader of Ten Rings.
