Shivaji Surathkal: Shivaji Surathkal Full Movie Review: 

The film opens with the bizarre case No. 101), which contains 11 witnesses to the assassination of the son of the home minister. Akash Srivatsa's director venture features Ramesh Aravind as the protagonist. Roshan Ravi (VinayGowda), the victim of the crime, is the son Rajiv Ravi. To solve the case, Shivaji (Ramesh Aravind), a Sherlock Holmes-type character, is sent by the police to Ranagiri's murder scene. Shivaji is able to solve most cases using his powers of deduction.

The fact that the film gives credit to mystery writers Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie tells viewers that this is the filmy version the beloved page-turners. The viewers discover that Shivaji is initially reluctant to visit the resort in Madikeri because of a painful past. With some encouragement from his superiors, he eventually takes his assistant Govindu Raamannakoppa and makes his way to Ranagiri despite personal issues involving Janani, his wife. He affectionately calls himself Ji.

Shivaji is given 48 hours to solve the case. The movie ends with a judgment on both the personal and professional sides of any investigator. Shivarji Surathkal is able to solve two cases in one investigation by killing two birds. Even though the role of Shivaji is not his usual image, Ramesh Aravind has done a great job. He uses all of his acting skills to play convincingly the role of Shivaji in his 101st movie. This film was possible due to director Akash Srivatsa's imagination and writer Abhijit. Akash, who directed Badmaash last year, put in a lot to prepare for the movie. This shines through in the suspense, horror scenes, sharp dialogues, and sharper editing.
