Krish travels from China to Kakinada to meet his estranged uncle. He falls for Venkata Lakshmi his uncle's daughter, who is already in a relationship. Chaos ensues when she disappears on a trip.
O Pitta Katha Movie Reviews: O Pitta Katha is a romantic comedy that has easy-going visuals and romance set in a village. It then switches into thriller mode. The film's comedy and thriller blend together is what works. The film's beginning is somewhat suffocating, but it makes up for it by the end.
Venkata Lakshmi, (NityaShetty), is a happy-go lucky college student from Kakinada. Krish (Viswant), visits his uncle's house to heal the rift between him and his mother. He falls in love with Venkata Lakshmi while there and asks his uncle for her hand in marriage to bring them back together. Venkata Lakshmi, who is on vacation to Araku, disappears. The sub-inspector Ajay (Brahmaji), tries to unravel the knots but soon realizes that Prabhu is there. It's a thrilling and funny ride to see how the cop solves all the mysteries.
The film is a success despite the part that was a bit shaky. The love story is a bit predictable, but the funny comedy works well in parts. The well-packaged thriller is what works best. Nitya Shetty has done a great job as the orthodox Venkata Lashmi. However, her character is a bit strange. The whole devotion aspect gets really irritating, and so does the slapping. Sanjay Rao's debut as Prabhu is impressive with few flaws. Viswant does a good job, but there is still room for improvement. There are flaws in the not-so-admirable relationship between Viswant and Nitya. Bala Raju is entertaining as Pandu with his humor timing. Although he only appears briefly, Brahmaji delivers a satisfying performance as a cop.
