Ludo: Ludo Full Movie Review:
Anurag Basu's "Ludo," which blends genres, characters and stories begins with a grisly murder committed by Sattu Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi). As parallel characters and stories emerge as do various varying situations.Akash (Aditya Roy Kapoor) and Ahana (Sanya Malhotra) are caught in a bind when they learn that a video of them having a sex session is going online and gone viral. With the wedding of Ahana scheduled for the next few days to a different man, they are trying to find the root of the matter.
On the other hand, a former convict, Bittu (Abhishek Bachchan) is released from prison after six years, only to realize the wife and daughter have left.
While at the same time that a sweet spouse, Pinky(Sana Fatima Shaikh) discovers that her husband is accused of murder, she rushes to her former sweetheart Alok or Alu (Rajkummar Rao) to aid in getting him out of.
And in other parts there, a down-on-his-luck salesman Rahul (Rohit Saraf) and an employee who is constantly being bullied in the workplace, Sheeja (Pearle Maney) are busy with their lives and do not realize that in the near future their lives will take on a dramatic direction.
From the beginning, 'Ludo appears to have an intriguing premise. The catchy opener track, with its captivating beginning and an intriguing build-up creates an intriguing mood. As the various characters are introduced, with the spotlight being placed on each of their backstories one at a time and slowly forming the pieces in a piece, the pace begins to slow. That's one of the major flaws of the film , because in trying to fit into the various storylines and character, the story becomes a little too stuffed. There's a hefty dose of dark humor, and a bit of sweet romance , and a few diverse characters that happen to be in the middle. The soundtrack and background score (Pritam) certainly spice up the action.
The ensemble cast delivers solid performances. PankajTripathi is consistently good and clearly was enjoying playing the tough criminal to the fullest. Rajkummar Rao's Mithun fan model is a blast and has a charming appearance without going too hammy. Abhishek Bachchan is a standout as Bittu. Fatima Sana Shaikh in the role of the part gentle and part trigger-happy Pinky is a dazzling performance. Sanya Malhotra, as well as Aditya Roy Kapoor can hold their own, with some adorable scenes in their relationship. Rohit Saraf has no dialogues , but a captivating track is a standout. And Pearle Maney leaves quite an impression.
