Eureka: Eureka Full Movie Review:
A Telugu film set in college is always about college life. It's either about glorifying bad friendships or infatuations. Eureka, however, is not about that. It manages to pull off a campus thriller. The film's director, Karteek, also played a leading role. He must be commended for trying a new genre, and creating a lighthearted thriller that works. However, the confusing screenplay and slow pace prove to be a problem.
Revanth, a hardworking student, wants to organize a college festival called Eureka. Revanth gets all the permissions and then gathers students to help him organize it. Yuva, on the other hand, is a typical college thug and hates the college's reputation. He wants to end the fest, and he gets into brawls frequently with Revanth to accomplish that. One of their brawls ends in police intervention. Yuva discovers Revanth's body on the Day of Eureka. He is afraid he will be held responsible for the murder and sets out to solve it before the fest ends.
Boring and forcedly inserted into the story is Yuva's love story with Dimple Hayathi. It could have been better explained the reasons for Yuva’s behavior in flashback. Although the comedy isn't great, it passes the time before Yuva and his friends (Abhay Bethiganti, Shalini Vadnikatti) get into the action.
