RASHMI ROCKET is the tale of a woman who's accused of being an adult. It's the year 2014. Rashmi Via (Taapsee Pannu) is from Bhuj, Gujarat and is an experienced tour guide. She's a fantastic runner but stopped running after losing the father of her children, Ramnik (Manoj Joshi) during the earthquake in 2001. In 2001 she was taking part in a marathon when the earthquake hit. She was so absorbed in the sport that she was unable to notice the chaos surrounding her. She was raised by her mother Bhanuben (Supriya Pathak) was the one to raise her and she also started fighting on behalf of women in the village. The inspector Sathe (Umesh Prakash Jagtap) says he has received an anonymous complaint that a male is hidden within the women's hostel. They discover that the person in the hostel is indeed Rashmi. She is detained. Gagan enters the police station and then releases her. After they both leave the police headquarters, they discover that the media have already arrived. The results of the tests are released and confirms that Rashmi has an abnormally high testosterone level. Therefore, the Association prohibits her. What follows is the remainder of the film.
