Don't Breathe 2: Don't Breathe 2 Full Movie Review:
Eight years have passed ago that Norman Nordstrom aka The Blind Man has made a group of thieves who were young pay for violating his property. Blind as a bat , but more cautious Norman, a former Marine is currently playing the role of an incredibly protective father to 11-year-old Phoenix who has to go through a rigorous self-defense regimen every day. Soon, her abilities will be tested when a group of nefarious criminals attempt to abduct her, leaving the bloody trail that they left in their tracks.
This sequel to the wildly popular 'Don't Breathe' is a success its own merits from the get start, with the co-writer and director Rodo Sayagues, and director of the first, Fede Alvarez, grab your attention right from the first moment and will not allow it to go. Blood-soaked violence is intense and suspenseful, crammed into the shortest amount of time that does not feel like a long stretch. The plot is somewhat shaky and does not have the conviction needed to justify a bloody gorefest. However, it does provide the basis for a thrilling battle between a strong blind male and a young girl who are battling a group of vicious and brutal criminals. It's a thrilling battle where it's thrilling to support those who appear to be disadvantaged, and are able to hit some serious butt.
It's no surprise that Stephen Lang leads the offensive, bringing his famed "Blind Man" routine. The actor is at his best and appearing as athletic powerhouse and will not be defeated without fighting. This isn't an ordinary fight. The sequel is packed with innovative and thrilling ways to kill and torture your opponent. It's not for weak-hearted people. Lang is able to bring the intense action with a complete conviction. Madelyn Grace is following in his footsteps very well, and is getting better at cutting and dicing tasks - something nobody under 11 should need to perform. Brendan Sexton III leads the group of villains, appearing to be an extremely creepy cold-blooded outlaw. The dog breeds (the Rottweiler and the Pit Bull) merit the spotlight for being in their most fierce form.
