Colour Photo: Colour Photo Full Movie Review:
Since the teaser and the songs from Colour Photo released, the film has always seemed like a good idea. The plot is an easy and straightforward one. What boggles your mind is the script. Dialogues are essential to any romantic story, however, the way Director Sandeep Raj uses them during important scenes makes this movie an unforgettable one.
The film takes place in the latter part of the 90s when people have a tendency to discriminate according to skin colour, and think that fair-skinned women aren't worth as to expect dark-skinned guys. It is more fun to see some characters in the film believe that things could change by 2020. Kannayya is a dedicated student who has big dreams in his life. He is deeply in love Deepti the classmate of his but is unable to show it to her. The innocence of his character is maintained and the comedy is top-quality. Kannayya is partnered with a partner in crime named Bala Yusu (Harsha Chemudu) who steals the show. Bala Yeahu's personality is innocent so that, even as he curses at people, it appears cute. The opening half of the film feels like a breath of fresh air.
The second portion of the film starts off by claiming to be a happy tale however it is filled with intense emotions. Sandeep Raj again hits the right notes when he narrates the story in a thoughtful manner. He shows his brilliance by exposing the brutal realities of life in the way they are, instead of sweetening them. The film's happy-go-lucky vibe slowly transforms into a rollercoaster of emotions and the same sweet innocence in the opening will make you cry in the scenes that are pre-climax. The writing is also excellent and more so than the directed, Sandeep will be remembered for his writing skills in the film. However, if there's something that's not quite right the fact that he chose to non-chalance towards the criminal Rama Raju, and not letting his character be at peace. If not, Colour Photo passes with excellent marks.
Suhas has yet again proven his acting skills by presenting Colour Photo. Every single aspect, including how he goes down the cycle without using the break, is very natural. Chandini's facial expressions and performance in the film should at the very least make writers think of writing powerful roles for her. Sunil excels in his role as the antagonist and it's not a surprise at all. The man of the moment is Harsha. The relationship with Harsha as well as Suhas in the film is as significant as the chemistry of the main characters, and the guys just destroyed it. Kaala Bhairava's music is perfect and the other technical aspects also worked out beautifully.
