Street Dancer 3D: Street Dancer 3D Full Movie Review:
Awe-inspiringly pompous, Inayat knows she's got the two - stunning looks and stunning dancing moves to 'kuch"karne ka'. She she isn't afraid to use these natural weapons to smack her age-old adversaries in the wrong direction; the ultimate softie and fierce rival, Sahej. While they've got an impressive fan base in street corners of London and the rest of the world, the pair, secretly, have always wanted to compete against each other at the sport they're passionate about dancing. What begins as a casual fight between two adversaries becomes something much bigger than them and the story continues to one of the most prestigious dance contests ever held. A dance-themed film"Street Dancing 3D" is also a reflection of the moral development of a group of talented dancers on stage as well as the larger show that the real world.
The lavish and equally stunning performances of the main duo of Shraddha Kapoor as well as Varun Dhawan - - has Remo D'Souza's distinctive style throughout the film. In his third dance-based film, the choreographer-turned-writer/director has upped his game in terms of the presentation of various dance forms - Jazz, Contemporary, Afro, Krump, Locking and Popping, Animation Tutting, Urban and Slow Mo. And he has got some highly polished dancers from all over the world. With her long top knot, sexy hair, a plethora of sass and flawless dance moves, Nora Fatehi as Mia proves to be an amazing revelation and shows the beauty of a glamorous woman. Apart from Shradhha and Varun's charming portrayal of NRIs who are desi-at-heart They have worked for hours on their postures as well as their general dance moves and this is evident in the film despite them being in the company of a multitude of professional dancers who are extremely talented. Shraddha's cocky Inayat compliments Varun's sultry Sahej. The VFX is also proven to be an additional benefit since Remo is utilizing technology to make things visually interesting for the viewers throughout the show.
Dancers-turned-actors Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak, Salman Yusuff Khan and Raghav Juyal have played their respective parts competently and Prabhudeva's act as this silent former performer-restaurateur is a surprise package. His reworked version of "Muqabla brings back memories and is one to be awed by.
The only thing that doesn't go in the direction of the storyline is its length. It could have been cut down to around 20 minutes. Dance is definitely the center stage in "Street Dancer 3D" however it's almost impossible to avoid the inconsistent script; for instance the film opens with a theme that is not the main focus and ends with another, which leaves viewers in a state of confusion at first and dissatisfied by the end. It is true that it is an entertainment-oriented movie, however, if an abundance of dance sequences, songs and battle scenes are thrown into the mix each six to seven minutes it can be a bit distracting for those who are a fervent lover of the type of film. Additionally, the film appeals to certain segments of the population - the regular dance fans and those who are drawn to extravagant scenes with glamorous sets in Bollywood films.
